I have 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury. It has a 440 rb motor in it already when I got the car. The car was sitting since the 80s in a shed. I purchased the car and pulled the motor out to go through it. I have now got it all back in the car and I am trying to hook everything back up but I can not get the throttle cable and kickdown rod to hook up to the new Holley Brawler carb I bought for the car. I still have the old Carter that came off of it but it is in bad shape which is why I bought the Holley carb to replace it. I know the throttle and kickdown move in the same direction then the throttle pedal is pushed. If anyone has any knowledge about this or could help, I would appreciate it.

I know that Edelbrock sells an adaptor for hooking up to Mopar linkage, so I would think that Holley would do the same. Most of these aftermarket carbs are made to bolt on a Chev and go.

I have purchased two from Holley and neither works. I am guessing I will just need to build one for it?

I am not very mechanical. but I made an extension for my linkage to my Eddie from 1/4" x 24 threaded rod. works perfectly. The 24 tpi is unusual, I think i cut off a bolt.
