Since 440's came on 66 Furys. I'd they'd cast 440's in March 65 is my guess?

The casting date would have to be somewhere in early to mid 65 for it to show up in a 66 model year car.

The new cars came out around Labor day every year, that would make perfect sense for re-tooling purposes.

The oldest I found online is June 30 1965.

I’m pretty sure I saw a May casting date a while back.
