1966 Charger $5500 (not mine)

This car is near Walla Walla, WA (take a left at Albuquerque) and the owner would like to sell it intact but he's being hounded to part it out. I'd love to pick it up and just get it on the road as-is but I don't have the space or time for another project car. He's a really nice guy, 70 years old and "doesn't have time for games".

It was a 383/auto but currently NO engine or transmission. Clear Oregon title. The interior is "98% intact with a really nice, almost perfect headliner" and seats need new covers. Very straight, except for the dent in the driver door and quarter, and "almost no rust".

Just too solid and complete to part out, in my opinion. Someone save it!

I don't think that's a factory 383-4 car with "V-8" badges on the fenders.

I forgot to ask if it had an option tag but as complete as the interior is I would suspect a build sheet might be found. I noticed the V-8 badges but wondered if it might be an early build and maybe the 383 badges came later? I'm not at all familiar with the first generation Chargers. I really like the quad-bucket interiors and the glowy dash.

I would suspect a 361 car if someone thought a bigblock used to be in there.

V-8 emblem could be 318 or 383 2 bbl. on 67 Charger. Same emblem on 66 could be 318 or 361.
