1966 Satellite upper trim removal

Anyone have any tricks or secrets to remove the upper body line trim.

I have a mldg on a used fender I want to remove and want to plan ahead to not hurt either the trim and / or the attaching clips

Bill if you remove the turn signal indicator in front and the nut from underneath in rear by door then I usually can (by the molding clips) push top of trim towards hood and should pop loose.

by sliding it rearward off the clips.

Noticed the clips are nothing like the repop clips for the same application
