Is the same plastic clip used in all the side trim mounting holes in the fender, door and quarter?

Or do some of the mounting spots use different clips then the plastic clip?

Thank you any information

I can tell you that on my car, a two door hardtop, the plastic clips were used on the quarter panels and doors but not the front fenders. If I remember correctly, the quarter panel has a clip with a nut at the rear and the door has a clip with a nut at the rear, the rest are plastic. On my car, the the front fenders used a spring clip in all of the holes.

Hopefully, someone else will chime in if I am wrong. I will check tomorrow to verify.

They usually use a spring clip and a stud and nut on the ends so it doesn’t come off the car. Then plastic clips in the middle.
