I am looking for a replacement part lower control arm bushing for my 1967 Dodge Coronet 440. See below for the 'starred' image. Any help is appreciated.
It's not an easy job. After the arm is pulled you have to get the old one out and then press the new one in. The last 2 I did I just burned the rubber out then air Chesil the bushing in half.
At that point you should do all the front end joints. Just my opinion
Proforged are supposed to be better than moog if you want rubber. Other option is poly lower control arm bushings. Never used them before but other say they have a harsher ride and sometimes squeak.
Going through replacing the LCA bushing on my super bee and bought both Moog (K791 $10.21) and Proforged (115-10015 $14.44) Open to any positive or negative experience with either, however it's probably splitting hairs and either one would work fine. Proforged is made is Taiwan, Moog is made in...
