1967 Coronet manual brake master cylinder question.

This little rubber thing-a-ma-bob came with the new manual brake MC. Where does it go?

End of the push rod that goes into the master cylinder. It goes into the master cylinder and keeps the rod from falling out. Very important function - many have crashed because they left it out and didn't have another means of keeping the push rod from falling out.
