1967 Coronet R/T vs 1965 Coronet 500 red vs red

Here is a picture of my two Coronets that I took last night. The 65 is an original paint PP1 red 500 and my R/T is a mostly original PP1 red. Funny like B5 blue how the paint could be so different between the few years. The cars drive so different too. The 67 is obviously a 440 and the 65 is a 383 4BBL. The 65 is much quieter and though it has a sway bar etc is a much more cruiser like driver.

I may be the type of paint and the paint improvements over the years.

There is a really simple explanation. 65 and 67 have the same color identification, but are different colors.
Here are the color sheets, and the paint code for the separate years show a different formula number.
