This car has had over 30k invested in it. It is together and driving but still needs tweaking as everything except for paint and body is new with less than 500 miles on it. This car was built to drive back and forth from Texas to GA and be able to roll on the highway. All the hard work is done. NADA in excellent condition is $119k but only asking $30k obo Only rust is in the lower quarters

To save everyone some time I went ahead and got the NADA value on the car. This is what a bank will loan a person if they have good credit of course.

what are the first four of the VIN? also, is there a fender tag and broadcast sheet present?

thanks

Hagerty comes up with an average value of $40,000.00 for a 1967 440 GTX convertible, which is believable. A top notch car with matching numbers will fetch somewhere in the 50-60 range while a non-matching numbers car that needs restoration will be much less. The car pictured above needs a complete restoration.

I don't care what Hagerty values a car at as the banks don't. I know how much is invested in this car and I feel it is a good starting point on price.

from my understanding, there are no 'matching-numbers' cars in 67.. only cars that have dated components prior to the cars build... for a nicely restored 67 vert, with a 440, whether the engine is pre/post build (IMO) would have little effect on the price...

Probably gonna get yanked on account of "no comments in FS thread..."

These folks (Collector Car Price Guide) are pretty close.
