1967 Satellite tail light trim, trunk sail panel question

I am looking at a 67 Satellite for purchase looks like a nice car but..... It looks like it has gtx tail light trim and sail panel trim. Was it possible to upgrade trim to get these types of things as a upgrade or has this stuff been added. All other trim and badging looks correct on the car.

That panel and tail light bezels are correct for a Satellite. If there was any difference it might have been that the trunk panel silver paint was a bit lighter than the GTX paint. But not sure of that - could be the same.

actually the gtx trim was borrowed from the satellite, the only difference was satellite trim was a lighter color than the gtx

so is the silver color paint, or is it something else? Like anodizing, or just the finish in the aluminum?

It's paint over the anodized panel. It's that Mopar Organosol paint.

The Satellite got textured light argent silver paint on the trunk panel and the painted part of the taillight bezels. The GTX has textured dark argent silver paint on the trunk panel and the same red as the groves on the trunk panel on the painted part of the taillight bezels. Hope this helps.
