1968 Coronet 500 Project

I was confused, at first. But now I see you're talking about the engine, not the resto.

Great job.

What was the issue with the booster?

Which one? The Chinese Bendix Clone hits the Commando valve cover bling fins. I have an original 2 piece booster coming that will get sent to Booster Exchange.

The oldest daughter's Valiant.

Found these today... be here Friday then off to Booster Exchange and Booster Steve...

That old booster looks kinda Steam punkish.

They are.... interesting... that makes me want to use it even more! Plus I KNOW it will clear the Commando valve covers. It will have a dual reservoir MC as I added '+73 disks.

What it will looks like... with the dual reservoir MC.

Hi B-Body buddies... I barely look at the Coronet anymore (sorry) but this is what I have been doing for the last 2 years..... but I am officially retired now!

Just a couple small things but the Valiant is basically done and runs beautifully.. 1973 360 block, Edelbrock heads, Performer intake, Edelbrock 500 CFM carb, Accurate Exhaust HiPo 273 exhaust, 904 auto, 8.25" rear axle with 3.21 gears from a 74 Duster. Backdated the later block to look like a factory 273 Commando. Not a factory AC or PB car but found donor cars to create a very nicely equipped Signet.

Wow! the Signet turned out great. Excellent! Next project will be very cool too!

Oops I did it again. Twice. Bought a pair of A100s, one is now home and also bought a rotisserie for this one. I am hoping to build both if the title for the one does not become a PIA.

Follow along here

Oh wow, those are cool! Are you going to build a hemi powered wheel standing Bill Maverick Golden clone?

I mean... Ya got two of em. Restore one, then Bill Maverick clone the other. It'd be easy. :)

I want one as a tow vehicle for my other classics and the second I want to have a Barrett Jackson experience and see what a hot rodded 225 will bring.

Jim, I know someone with a 10:1 1955 331 Hemi shortblock that is already built... :poke: $$$

All you need to buy are Heads/Rocker assy/valve covers/induction... $$$$$$$$

A little birdy told me that he might even have a 518 trans already built too...

I’ll stop by tomorrow. Taking one to get it inspected for a title.
