Looking on National Moparts Website there were 2 used in 68. The quicksilver one was for 68 cars made from beginning of 1968 Production, (August 1st 1967), to before October 01 1967.
The one from CI was used on later 1968 cars with a production date after October 01 1967.
As my car was built 1/22/68 I thought of it as an early model off the line but now realize I was wrong as 68 models were being built in 67 FOR the 68 year. So the CI one is correct for my car.
