1968 drum brake master cylinder

I am trying to find out if the master cylinder is original to my 1968 Dodge Charger before I have it restored/rebuilt. Bob Horman

It is an original.
Once cleaned, you can check for date to see if its original to your car.

I thought originals had the 7 digit casting number in the bottom side ??????

Date code will be stamped in the forward end of the barrel / casting

There were two vendors of masters used.
So AANF and a part numbered unit are correct.
