Well I got the right side installed with the chrome.

Still waiting for the new window crank handles to arrive.

Unfortunately, I had already installed the left side without the chrome, so I will need to pull that back off - again.

As I understand it, there is a narrow metal strip that is supposed to be between the door panel and the carpet. When i put my car together (I bought it without an interior), the strips came with the car, but there was not enough space here to have them at this spot. I never figured this out, so I left them out.

I noticed this on the other side as well. It is because I left too much carpet in that spot. When I trimmed the carpet on the right side, the panel fit much better.
It seems I remember two small strips of chrome, I will have to check my parts boxes. Thanks.

Here's are the pieces that I remembered were stored in a box.
Cleaned one of them up a bit to get a better look. Are these those lower trim pieces you mentioned?

Burlap and 18 gauge wire arrived today.
Decided to try installing the listing wire but only every 2". I noticed on the Legendary Video that don't use any listing wire at all.

This was the first attempt. I got a better game plan on each row, so it should go a bit easier when I get back to it tomorrow.

Also, wondering if I should get a new emblem for the back seat?
The backing appears to be simply be pressed on.

Hi, what did you use to tie the ends of the listing wires together. Mine look like they were tied with some type of rope, but it’s all disintegrating now.

I used Paracord Rope that I bought through Home Depot.

Hi, what did you use to tie the ends of the listing wires together. Mine look like they were tied with some type of rope, but it’s all disintegrating now.

I used the thin plastic coated clothes line rope because it lasts forever and it was about the same diameter as the original stuff.
