Hello all...

Curious to know what type of Road Runner is supposed to be on the deck lid of a 1968 Road Runner Non-Décor PKG...I know there is 1 blk/white bird on each door "jumping" and 1 "standing" above the glove compartment

I see some 68's with no bird on the deck lid, some with the "standing" blk/white bird and others with the "running colored" road runner...which I thought wasn't available, since warner bros didn't agree to that version of the road runner until 1969.

Here is the back of my car....I just want to make it right.

Thanks !!

You should have a B/W standing bird above the Road Runner badge on the deck lid.

We're the 1968 decals ever actually applied by the factory, or were the cars delivered with them in the glove compartment and the owner applied them? I remember Jack Smith saying the agreement was the decals would be provided but not installed.

I had one of these new in 68, There was no bird on the trunk lid. Yours look correct as it is now.
