I'm a "log-In" member on Mecum auctions...

The above quote by Beavis is typical of many Auction company "crowds"
For instance:
Barrett-Jackson crowds will pay $60 to $80K "ALL-DAY-LONG" for a 1969 Resto Mod Camaro.
The Crowd at Mecum will sometimes do the same.

And yet, (as during this last Mecum Auction at Harrisburg PA) a 1969 GTX convertible with a 440 magnum engine sold for $44K

My point is:
Just because a car does NOT SELL at an auction house, does not mean the asking price or reserve is "too high" (Atypical)

NOTE: It is the SHEEPLE who buy the cars, many of them have "BLINDERS" on...
They refuse to BID on the Rare and uncommon Mopars and AMC Javelin/AMXs...
They only see CAMARO/CHEVELLE/ELCAMINO/NOVA/RESTO MOD Pick-up trucks and outrageously over mdified 67 Mustang Fastbacks of the so called "Eleanor DNA"

And if anyone TRULY KNOWS MUSCLECARS...the one and only TRUE ELEANOR was a 1973 "GINGER" colored Mustang fastback.....
