68n69 Charger

Good day! I am working on the '69 to finish up the wheel wells. I have the splash shields in, but I have one shield that I am not sure where it goes. I'm confident someone can help me out here:
Can anyone guide me through the process and the finish product, with pictures maybe?
So it seems that the splash shield goes on, then the .090 black mastic pieces go on after that. I haven't ordered the mastic kit yet, so I'm not sure how those work. Will this completely seal off the pocket or do I need to put some silicone around the edges? I still have to finish the body panel alignments, so should I wait until all adjustments are done first, then install these? I don't want to get the cart ahead of the horse.
