1969 Charger headlamp door actuators

Hi gents, Can anyone tell me if i can use a 1968 and a 1969 Charger headlamp door vacuum actuators together?
Reason I ask is I have 2x 69 and 2x 68 Vacuum actuators but one of each is not working and I understand the 1968 ones have a magnet in them to hold them open..
Just wondering if this will cause and issues with closing them together.

As far as I know they are the same. Never ever heard about magnets.

68 does have magnets, 69 uses a metal 'spring' to hold the doors open . I have one of each on my car

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any delays with the doors opening at different times or are the pretty even?
Is the spring located inside the 69 pot or external?
