I was thinking about my paint choices and I was thinking of T5 Copper with a White Bumblebee Stripe. I just wanted to know what are some other good color combinations.

I love the way white interiors look with most of the factory colors, especially the blues, turquoise, greens and burnt orange.

The car is originally F3/V1F/V8X C6F. For those w/o code knowledge: Light Green/Green Top/ Black Stripe w/ Green Interior.

I like the tan/tan, but I'd consider leaving off the stripe and adding the metal R/T emblem. Of course you could add that on top of the stripe, like I did in 1969.

my ex-girlfriends dad had a 69 super bee that was copper with a white stripe, tan interior. It looked awsome to me.

Back in the high school days I had a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda in copper with a copper interior. Beautiful color combo, never see any mopars around my area with that color. Found another same model same exterior with a black interior, nice but just didnt capure the same vibe. Maybe I am just nostalgic. Tough decisions, I am still trying to figure out which color to go with on my 69 love black but not sure if the car will be straight enough to go with black. Good luck with your car.

I had a '69 Super Bee back in '79 that was Bronze Metallic with a white stripe (solid color roof though) and saddle tan interior. It was a really good looking combo for sure.

i think about the coolest colour combo for a 69 charger would have to be black paint, black interior with a red R/T stripe. Just my opnion. My dad's is T5 bronze (or very close, repainted and wasn't an absolute 100% match) and it looks nice but it doesn't really pop. Just my opinion though, some people love the T5

I was thinking of the original color combo to hold up the value but it wears on my fast, I can't hold myself to do what some crazy salesman though up. I was thinking of double blue without a stripe also. I really like that but I want something that fits in with the IL countryside. know what I mean?

My biggest concern is that I pick a color I won't be happy with later on and I don't want the pain of repainting it or parting with the car. Can some of you post pics of your b-bodies on here so I can see what is already out there?

A couple things is that I noticed that F8 (Dark Green poly) is the most popular color. Also that the special order colors are not very good. Silver is the most popular color today so that's out. white shows dirt, sorry black fans, but it is too high maintenance. either blue, green, red, or a shade of "red" metal. Hemi Orange will get remarks of "General Lee". Well I hope that helps narrow it down drastically.

You've got to do what you will be pleased with in the long run. T5 should be a great color & better w/ dust & dirt. My Black Super Bee I've owned since new is a pain but I've enjoyed the tan interior since new. Stripes are nice probably sets car off more the chrome R/T is ok as well
Nobody told me I'd be 60 yrs old washing a black car too often

A quick question concerning colors: What color is the dash? the man at "MoPaints" says that it is black regardless of interior. I believe that is 100% wrong. I know it that Chargers that had black dashes were either black or white on the inside, who's right?

My Coronet is pale yellow woth a black interior and roof. I like it the contrast of the colors.

FK5 (Dark Burnt Orange Metallic) body color, white interior, white tail stripe and a white vinyl top if you're going with a vinyl top, or FK5 if you're painting the roof.

I realize that FK5 was only used in 1970, but it was a FANTASTIC color, especially with a white inter and stripe! My 70 Charger R/T was FK5 with a white interior, white side body pin stripes instead of the Bumble Bee stripe and a black vinyl top and it was a BEAUTIFUL car! All of my "after restoration" pictures of this car were lost years ago, but here's a couple of pictures of the engine compartment after LOTS of hard work. :) Man, I wish I had that car back!

It's not up there but a decision has been reached, B5 with a Blue interior and a white stripe.
