hello folks, not sure if this is the spot to post this but I’m curious, did dodge ever make a coronet 4 door, 440 trim level with a 383 magnum or 383 hp with a 4 speed. If so how many were made.

Thank you guys in advance

i would guess the car was originally a 318-3 speed manual car.
mine is a 318/auto in 440 trim.
i also dont think it would have been a police car build in 440 trim.
if it Was a big block manual car,id wager it was a 383 2bbl originally.
still,if you found a 383 4 speed car,in a 4 door,it already sounds way cool.
pics?
is there a Data tag on the inner drivers side fenderwell?
under the hood on inner fender
if so take pics of that and it can be decoded.

Have seen 383 auto 69 4 door before.....never a stick...but it is possible....there is a 70 Coronet wagon 383 4 speed car close to me

I always say "Never say never when it comes to things Ma Mopar did back then". It is possible.
Sometimes you wonder why when people ordered cars what was their reason. Case in point.Knew of a guy that ordered a new 70 Challenger 383 2 bbl with a 4 speed.Wire wheel covers and a luggage rack on the trunk lid. Now I understand the wheel covers and rack but why a 2bbl with a 4 speed? I know I'm a gear head, but to me that just didn't jive.

id agree with Darter,it looks to be a special order car maybe for towing.
be nice to see the build sheet for it.
it is unique but im not sure its 25 grand worth of unique.

then again, its supposedly the only one? made?
which, like Darter said, mopar made All sorts of combos that are still popping up all these years later, and its in what appears to be mint condition.
the problem here is,you cant drive it if you buy it...one of one, cant be replaced.

ps,the 2bbl 4speed challenger,im guessing he wanted fuel economy lol ??
sure is odd,big block with a 2bbl special ordered.
