Anyone know the differences, if any, between bucket seats on a superbee and Plymouth?

I have a set of each. I stripped the seats down to the springs. The bottom springs on the roadrunner seem flatter and lower than the Superbee, but I'm thinking they are just worn out. The Superbee ones have more shape to them.

Legendary Auto has the bucket seat springs listed for the Superbee but not the roadrunner. This is wrong, right? Are they not the same?

Also with Legendarys upholstery kit, the super bee has a horseshoe foam trim kit, and the roadrunner has a set of rectangular foam pieces.

Has anyone done a set of each and can confirm that 1., the springs are the same, and 2., they are supposed to have different foam trim kits or whatever they call them?

The frames and springs should be the same.

The foams are molded based on the listing wire locations and sometimes the stitching patterns, which can be quite a bit different.

Thanks for the confirmation. That's what I figured. It's amazing how the springs can wear out that much!

Probably depends on who sat in the seat! The patterns are different. At a dealership, I remember a fat gal broke the left lower swing arm for the back of a front seat. No fixing that without getting another seat back. I ty my springs together a little with zip ties to help them support each other on the seat bottom .

That's a pretty good idea.

They do eventually fatigue, especially in humidity.

They guy that put my 73 Duster seat cover on my 70 Super Bee bench, used a thin spring across the whole middle of the seat bottom.
