1969 GTX grille restoration project

Well, this is what you get when you mix a large Plastex kit, some spray paint, and an old very rough GTX grille with an armature who is bored over a cold winter's weekend. The grill was missing about half the teeth, half of the remaining teeth were broke at one end or the other. There were flat sections with large pieces missing, and 3-4 of the mounting post on the back side were either broken off or missing.

Is it perfect... Hell no. Is it better than spending the $1,400 to $2,000 I've seen other restored grilles go for... Hell yes.

With the new trim, emblem, paint, and plastex I'd guess I have about $200 - $250 in it.

I just wish I was a little more steady with the brush when I pinstriped in the red. These old shaky hands got the better of me.
