Factory style exhaust tips installed. I had to cut and weld since the 3" tips were too small to accept a 3" diameter pipe.

Another thread got me off the fence to purchase a NOS turn signal switch. The original works but the right hand cancel was broke. I replaced that with a pos aftermarket switch several years back that lasted a few months, then back to the old one.

This one is a C Body switch, 2857242. Same as the B Body except it has 3 extra wires (purple, tan, green) that are not needed. And it was $100 less than a B Body switch.

R&R was easy. Disconnect battery, remove steering wheel, remove signal stalk, remove trim, remove column plate, remove connector and it all pulls out of the column.

Brand new Hughes STL4650 solid lifter cam installed.

Checked lash today and it all looks good. I set lash cold at .005" Intake/ .007" Exhaust.

Car show and parade back in May that I forgot to post. It is always fun to go and is the only local show we have in town. Met the owner of a 67 Hemi GTX who lives in the next town over.

Still driving great. I am on vacation this week so I re-lashed the engine. There were a few that were tighter, but none had opened up and most were where I left them.

Repairs started on the rockers. The fronts have some rust through both sides. The pass side is solid back to the lead line, the driver side had some rust through which is in the process of being welded. I'm out of gas so it will wait. FYI, the front caps may be plated because when I welded up the spot welds it was smoky and metal turned white like galvanized would.

These seams on both sides will eventually get body seam sealer.
