I have heard that there are two different headlight bezels for B body 1969. They may look the same from the front , but are not direct interchangeable Might that be one to fit a Roadrunner and another to fit a GTX? Doesn't those two have different grills? .......Your input appreciated......................................MO

I can't speak for the 69 but I have a 68 GTX and just bought those parts off of a 68 RR. Fit to me GTX was perfect.

I have never owned either a 68 or 69 Plymouth, but I would assume that the headlight buckets between a RR and GTX in either year would be identical - barring any variations between suppliers. The level of trim differential between the two cars didn't cover such items as far as I am aware.

The headlight buckets are not identical. I recently tried to put 69 headlight bezels on my 68, and they would not fit. I am 95% sure that I did that back in 1969. Seems like I read a post here on FBBO about how to make the 69 bezels from one grille fit with another grille. Leads me to believe there are two different bezels...................................MO

Maybe the grille difference made an allowance for what you see as being different?

It is true, there are two different headlight bezels. The GTX, Sport Satellite bezels have a small section missing for clearance of the grill. Road Runner bezels can be trimmed to fit a GTX or Sport Satellite ,you just need to know where to trim. I'm not sure if you used GTX, Sport Satellite bezels on a Road Runner if the cutout area would show.

I have 68 Sport Satellite bezels . I installed a 68 Roadrunner style grille , and those bezels fit fine. I also have a set of 69 bezels ( do not know which grille they were used with) that I want to use with my 68 RR grille. Those do not fit. I am sure I made this conversion back in the day(1969) Wish I had comparison pics for the two different 69 bezels...............Thanks for your help..................................MO
