1969 Sure Grip Rear End

If I am not wrong the U joint on a 489 takes a bigger one than what I have on my 8 3/4 now. So, I know that I need to have one built to work on the swap. Where to get the rite yoke. For the drive shaft.

Going from an 8 1/4 to an 8 3/4 usually requires the driveshaft to be shortened.
I know for sure it needs to be shortened when going from a 7 1/4 to the 8 3/4.....

@69/70Plymies Once the 8 3/4 is in, take a measurement to get the perfect fit. I've seen driveshafts from the factory that were a bit on the short side and fit very well after a rear end swap.
