Not mine, just popped up on Facebook. Seller wants 28k. No fender tag, non original motor…unknown whether the build sheet is there. Complete interior with 6 way buckets, dash and console. Looks like a factory hard top.

What did stuff like this go for just a few years back? Seems high, but a cool car nonetheless.

It's a 69 Charger, the prices don't surprise me anymore.

Seems high, I like it compared to a same condition, non R/T for even $20k though.

I bought a one owner R/T complete car in 16 for a lot less than that. Fender tag and broadcast sheet. Unmolested, parked in 1980. I paid less for a complete documented trac pac car a few years ago.

What’s the secret? I’d like to think $30-35k should buy a complete rt needing restoration but not the titanic lol. Most need trunk, lower quarters, etc…

I didn't say they didn't need work. But it's worth it in my opinion. I did't pay anywhere near the #'s you quoted. But some people think that they are going to find a perfect sheet metal Charger barn find for $10K. :realcrazy: Good luck with that. It might happen but you might as well look for the end of the rainbow too. Or unicorns, flying pigs, etc.

For sure. I totally expect needing work and the usual rust repair. That’s part of the hobby. I just see plenty of RTs that far more than the usual stuff listed for like $30k plus now.

That last picture is a field of dreams.
I know what I speak of because both my parents were from North Alabama.

Another green one... Chrysler must have gotten a deal from the government on extra paint from Nam.

To save a dream, to restore something so beautiful even rusty, that it almost hurts to look at it. They are ethereal, far ahead of it's time in design, almost perfect and they look out of place among most cars at a car show. I've seen peoples heads snap around when I drive past in my Charger and it's not because I'm chucking a moon out of the side window...
