1969 Triple green RT/SE in N Alabama

No! Buff it off, clear coat it and drive the hell out of it. They don't all have to have perfect paint.

There's a big difference between perfect paint and driving a four wheeled avocado...

if its a true RT/SE I think he might just get it.

With a non original engine, no fender tag, and probably no broadcast, good luck proving that.
you are correct,I believe they made just over 4000 RT/SE in 69. I had one and it was stolen in Houston when I lived there and never found it.

How many of those R/T SE's do you think were 4 speeds?

Could you even get an SE without the vinyl top? The owner says the rear rails need work…so it’s probably crusty in the back of the rear rails.

Also, how would swapping the auto for a 18 spline 4 speed and painting it something other than F8 affect value?

Clearly it needs some metal work. And it’s not a cheap starting point. Would I be wasting the money buying an RT just to convert an auto to standard?

Interesting. From some guys who have seen it, it’s got some rare options and it’s supposedly in decent shape. I mean I might be interested. Im assuming it will sell at $28k.

Fair asking at $28k? Assuming it’s got the title and build sheet? It’s got rust, worst of it looks like the trunk and rear frame rails. But I know chargers are money and it is an RT SE

That's in better shape than the white '70 Charger R/T you looked at earlier this year?

I wouldn't buy that green one using your money.

Unfortunately, it probably will sell for $28k.

No, the white 70 rt was in better shape. And a Dana 60 4 speed car to boot. I did message that owner and told him to keep me in mind if he decides to sell. Build sheet under the seat wasn’t complete in the car, but I didn’t have time to look for others. But it had a matching 18 spline and Dana, was a true RT. All white, no vinyl top with the orange interior.
