Okay this is my attempt at building a Chrysler. So far this is what I have in it. I have speed pro L2315nf30 pistons, stock rods, and a stock forged crank for rotating assembly. The cam is a hydraulic roller 509/528 222/[email protected]. I put the timing chain straight up no advance. The heads have had work done porting wise and the guides were cut down for viton seals. Valve sizes are 2.14 intake and 1.8 on the exhaust. The springs are 137 @ 1.860 with .15 shim 310 @ 1.330. The rocker system is 1.6 Harland sharps. Headgasket is .040 compressed. My question is. Ive been told that the cam is too big for the pistons that they need valve reliefs. Has anyone else ran this setup with success?

Can't answer the clearance question but I would degree the cam and install it at the recommended intake centerline.

No one will be able to answer this.
Even if they said sure it will run great .
Do you really want to bend a bunch of valves and possibly break a bunch of stuff?
You definitely need to model it.
At effective.563" lift the exhaust may well hit.
