how do you know this ? did you look at the block with the heads off and oil pan and look at the pistons

It's a 1968 motor. There were NO six packs till mid year 1969.
Therefore, the only thing it can be is a 440 built to simulate a Six Pack
Casting date is 10/6/67 with an assembly date of 11/6/67.

Does anyone see a "HP" on the ID boss? I cannot tell. If not, it's a stnd 440.
