What's it Worth 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Manual Track Pack Car Barn Find

Front fenders are 1 year only. Worth a bunch even when they're crusty.
440 engine is worth "something".
Transmission is worth "something".
Differential is worth "something".
Trunk decklid is worth ""something".
Hood is worth ""something".
Not worth the trouble to part it out at $8,000 or $5,000 for that matter.

Both doors / hinges look tweaked.
Cowl looks shot.
Right A pillar looks slightly odd to me.
 
I'm voting it's a later, non numbers matching engine due to the TQ and wrong valve covers, although I'm not so sure that is all that much of a downer for the 68-70 Charger crowd. Rad is wrong too. It's going to be expensive if you want to do it right.
The $100k for a resto thrown out by Wild R/T isn't unrealistic at all, I think it would cost more than that as well.
Value is dependent on what you can do yourself and how bad you want it. We can't go and order one of these cars anymore.
I know what I would personally pay for it and I know it will sell for more than that. I've seen project cars go for just stupid money the last few years. I've also seen some okay project cars that are reasonably priced (but still would end up upside down) and not sell. No way would I even guess at what it will sell for to be honest.

Does it have D21 on the fender tag which is for the 4 speed manual trans? I ask because I see an automatic trans console shifter laying off to the side.

Manual brakes. Should be 11" drums.
Power steering cooler. That's consistent with the track pak package.
Windows aren't tinted. That's consistent with a 4 speed car (no air conditioning).
Radiator shroud is missing.
Dual chrome racing (teardrop shape) mirrors. Kind of rare.
I like white cars, but resale isn't as good as the cars with famous colors from that era.

The EGR valve tends to support that possibility..
 
All these crazy numbers are mind boggling.
I guess my standards of "restoration" are so far below what some people have, I just don't see the legitimacy for the high quotes I'm seeing.
 
The op posed the question without any accompanying pictures. I assumed an almost basket case condition and assumed he would hire out everything since he didn't reference his own skill level. That is, a "checkbook restoration" as @1 Wild R/T called it.

Or an R... As a U code the 4spd is the only thing that makes it worth thinking about
 
Who are you buying it from ?
Do they know what they have ?
Is it a friend that will give you a good deal to see it go to a good home ?
The car in the pictures looks a lot better than I thought it was going to
Who says it is numbers matching ?
Think you need to learn where to look and confirm those facts for yourself

If it is real and numbers match I think you are looking at about $20k to get that car into your garage

If the seller is fishing just trying to find the best offer someone with too much money will come along and offer more than you :(
 
I am going to agree with the above post that it will take $20K to get it in your garage. If it is a #'s motor and 4-speed, someone will surely pay that imo.
