I have two different ones here but not sure which one ( or either ) is correct for my 8 3/4? Does it matter which plant and/or date? Mine is St Louis, December 1969.

I had a 50/50 chance and blasted the wrong one, hence why I don`t gamble - I have no luck. No biggie I`ll just bead blast and paint the other one.

The rear axle pinion carrier support and rubber bumper, Chrysler number 2403906, shown in the second picture is the type originally installed on a 1970 model 8-3/4" rear axle.

The rear axle pinion carrier support and rubber bumper, Chrysler number 3643969, shown in the first picture was used in car applications from May 1972 - September 9, 1974. This bumper attaches to the support differently than the previous version. It was also used on other rear axles in addition to the 8-3/4" axle.

3643969 was superseded by Chrysler number 3845139 after September 9, 1974. 3845139 was used in rear wheel drive passenger car applications through 1989 and can interchange with 3643969.
