My Tachometer red line now looks yellow and has a tiny chip in it , I think this red line is a decal. I was thinking to send her out to a place called AutoInstuments in VA . They said they can silk screen the tach face,No sticker. Has any one had any work done with them.
My Speedometer has a double line after 70 it is now like a yellow white.
Should these lines also be red.
I want to paint the dash black x9 I think there should be a fine grain it.
Does any one know who could make this for a rattle can that sprays good.
I think i went to tcb before. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks john.

SEM paint does a good job. You could use that for your gauge. He also sell orange paint for the needle.

the dash frame was originally black suede lacquer
you can still get it in a quart/pt i believe.
for a spray bomb there was a krylon that someone was saying
is pretty good,i don't recall the name of it.

John The black paint you need for your dash is a textured paint. I found one that is as close to original as what is out there. Go to your auto paint store and ask for DIA 9388.
It is a Duracryl PPG paint. They can make 3 spray cans from a pint can. It cost me a little over $50.00 for three cans but it works and looks great. It is a lacquer paint not available in a lot of states but still available in Wis.

Thanks much I will check it out.
I bought some about 10 years ago for a 69 dodge it was jewel black but enamel,
made me 3 cans , now I cant remember who made it for me.
so thanks again.
