While removing the water pump on our '72 Satellite Sebring Plus I heard something drop to the ground. I picked up a "H" shaped spacer (see it in the middle of the bolts). I don't know if that was a factory spacer or added from a previous owner. The problem is, I did not see from which bracket/bolt area it dropped from the driver's side, probably connected to the power steering bracketry. If anyone has any experience with this piece, please let me know it's proper location. Upon assembly, I guess I could figure it out somehow but knowing for sure beforehand would be a tremendous help. Thank you.

I could be wrong of course but I have never seen that H looking thing on any PS pump. I have owned many SBMs (own several right now) and am absolutely sure I do not have one of those. I suspect that perhaps the lower pulley might have been swapped which changes the belt alignment or perhaps the PS pump is "different".

I've never seen anything like that either... part of me thinks it's "found it on the ground" spacer a previous owner threw in.
