I have a 1973 Charger and am looking to get some wheels and Tires. I want to go as wide as possible, without any modifications. It is a Rally Red. I am open to suggestions because aat this point I have no clue what to get or where to get it. I can't find any sites that let me see my car with selected wheels.

If you are specifically asking about the rear clearance, I have 275/60/15 mounted on 8 inch rims 3 3/4 back space and plenty room. To go wider on the tire, you will have to go to a lower profile tire like a 45 or 40 but increase to a 17 or 18 inch rim.

The tires are 275/60/15 mounted on 8 inch rims with 3 3/4 back space. The tread with is 10 inches.

how wide of tire

I did a bunch of research on my Charger and from the factory you could have a G-70 or a F-70 TIRE .the tire has a circumference of 27.0 inches and a BFG 275 /60R15 is the same .I am going to run 255/60/15 on my 73 rallye ,everything will work out fine, just have to watch the scrubbing on the frame rail and the front fender.hope this helps....:hello2:

The 74 I picked up has N50-15's online it looks like they are 345/50-15. 28" by 12"w

the 15x8 repro mopar rallys have a 4.25 inch backspacing,
from your picture i can't tell for sure, would that have brought you too far in for the 275s?
Is a 73/74 RR more, less, or the same rear wheel clearance?
