I thought the last year of the Hemi was 1971??

Yes. No problem, They kept making them for racers and replacements.

Yes it was 1971 for a factory install in a production car.

Hemi blocks were available in the Direct Connection catalogue in 1975.

Tried to order a block in 1978 none. Should have had parts guy do a national search but didn't know any better. Bought a complete std bore engine from a friend.
