I have a 74 charger that is kind of rough and I am unsure weather to keep it together or part it out and sell it out in parts, It is all complete not sure if all numbers match. Here I have a picture of the fender tag to see if its special enough to keep in 1 piece. Please help.

Looks like a black Charger Rall

Post some pictures up of the car so we can see what your working with the 73-74 arnt much wanted by most I love them and have been after a hard top car again there hard to get now in decent condition so pictures then I can help you more accurately

400-4 Rallye in black with strobe stripe.

I like it.

You can get quarter patches, floors, dutchman, trunk, but doors and fenders are difficult to find. deck lids can be.

How's the cowl area? E body parts can be made to work, but it's a bitch and this area is common to rust out in 71-74.

I vote save, real Rallye cars are not that many. Lots of clones.
E68 is 400HP. Again worth saving particularly if matching #s.
AND 4speed - D21.

Good catch on D21.

Almost any factory big block 4 speed car is worth saving.

No not worth saving at all. I'll buy you out of it! How much for that wreck?

Yeah you kinda failed to mention it was a rallye, sadly still not big money when restored but there cool I'd rather have a 73 rallye over my 72 rallye I like the body lines better on the 73-74 cars . But seriously how much ?

More parts are becoming available for these cars. Classic industries is starting to make grille inserts, and AMD is working on 71-4 Charger bulge hoods. Nice find!

One other note I forgot to mention. It's a Lynch Road car so A57 code does not show on the fender tag (that is the Rallye package code). However it does say V6 which is the "gradated" stripe. So it looks as if it is a true Rallye.

Quarters are always shot on 73-74, but Tabco makes decent skins. You can also use the 71-2 AMD floor pans, the stamping is a little different for 73/74 but they will work if you are replacing the whole floor.

Usually there is a "sport hood" code on Rallye cars.

V tag codes are usually vinyl related, might be the blackout though.

Tape stripes are all "V" codes.
J54 I thought was only 71-72 hood as I can't seem to find that code in 73-4.
However my bad, V21 is Performance hood treatment V22 treatment with CID callout.

"Tape" is vinyl :)
