My trunk/jack decal got a bit loose, so I pulled it off carefully. Is there some remedy to flatten the decal or is the best thing just to stick it on again as is?

Lay it flat and lay a book down over it to apply weight and leave for a week or two. Maybe place sheet of paper to sandwhich it

There are reproduction ones made if you want to go that route and keep yours for display of an original. Not exact in some cases but close. Classic Industries for example - part number MB2088. About $9. Applying a contact cement to the old one and trying to put it back on may destroy it. If your not concerned, try to press it flat and reapply.

one of my old build sheets I put in the oven at 160-180 for a few min to limber it up and then put a weight on it.
