2018 9th Annual FABO NASCAR "Pick 'Em" Game - Here We Go Racing Again!!!

The only bonus points for the Monster Energy Open was for the initial qualifying to set the starting lineup - Aric Almirola qualified #1 from what I read online (didn't get to watch qualifying).
The "double bonus" was for any bonus points won during the All-Star race stages (all stages were won by either Kevin Harvick or Kyle Busch), or for winning the All-Star race (Kevin Harvick) or the race runner-up (Daniel Suarez).
Sorry, no extra bonus points for Chase Elliott.

Missed qualifying. Busch on the pole, Harvick failed inspection, starts at the rear, and lost his crew chief.

18 & 2 for win

Ocdart, please make my locked picks 4 & 78. Thanks for running the show. :drinks:

still sticking with my locked in picks

sad to see Kevin Harvick is starting at the rear
I didn't see the "actual" reasons, why he failed tech inspections...

Oh well just means he will pass that many more people :carrot:
for a top ten or the win :poke:

Congratulations to 'fishmens67' (FABO) for correctly picking the Coca Cola 600 Pole winner, #18 Kyle Busch, and picking up -1 bonus point for the correct pick.

I was going with Kyle Busch. Sorry for not being clear on this.I will be ok with not getting the pole point because of my mistake. Thanks

I saw your Coca Cola 600 race picks in post #163, but didn't see any mention of a Pole pick. Did I miss something?

:usflag:No I did not mention pole as you are correct. My head is up my as this weekend sorry !

About all that can be said for the Coca Cola 600 is it was a race of total domination by the #18.

As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

The next race is the Pocono 400 next Sunday, June 3rd with the green flag flying at approximately 2:15PM EDT (11:15PM PDT).

I finally got to see most all of a NASCAR race
even after watching most of INDY all morning
1100 miles of racing is too damn much :poke:

I think I had moss growing on my north side afterwards :lol:

Yep the good is;
I had #18 Kyle Busch for the win
all 3 stages & the win of the final stage/600 mile race,
he had a great car, the rest were all running for 2nd or worse
all race long, he dominated, crazy stuff

but the bad is;
I had #4 Kevin Harvick going out like lap 65-ish/in stage 1
because of a left front tire sudden failure
& slammed into the wall, he was in like 6th place, when he started 39th

I think KH would have gave KB a run for his money
if not for tire going down/wall fate

oh well
such if life
there's next race always

Hey Budnicks, we both had the field surrounded with our #4 and #18 picks! First and last.
:thumbsup:
Yeah, happy & sad at the same times...

finally got to see most of a whole race
other than while I was cooking

I really thought #4 Harvick was gonna' charge to the front
before he had a tire go down {cut a tire ? he was coming hard}
& smacked the damn wall

I can't complain much
"my locked in picks", rock this year

Saw a note in our local paper today: "Dr. Henry Bock, a pioneering doctor in racing and a key player in creating the SAFER barrier, has died.
