The Charlotte Roval almost makes Talladega look like a walk in the park!
Nobody picked either the race winner, #12 Ryan Blaney, or the race runner-up, #1 Jamie McMurray, so nobody picked up bonus points for either the winner or runner-up.
'Back in Time' (FABO) and 'ocdart' (FABO) shared the low net score honors for the week with 5.0 points.
Way to go!

#42 Kyle Larson was the race leader at the end of Stage 1 with #41 Kurt Busch in second place. #12 Ryan Blaney was the race leader at the end of Stage 2 with #48 Jimmie Johnson in second place.

I changed my pix to 2,78 yesterday after watching practice. Didn't help much. BK locked it up in the chicane and wiped out front of the field. JJ took out my last shot of redemption when he over drove the chicane and wiped out Truex.

Kurt Bush & Joey Lagano did a race on the new Roval
against each other a few months back,
they have some other private track time too
Joey was in a Cobra kit car & Kurt in a GMG built 72 Pantara
Kurt Won, both were Ford Powered

albeit not in cup cars, time on the track helps to know
breaking areas & where you can open it up

For some reason I haven't gotten thread updates for several weeks again. I reset the watch button. I really sucks that Johnson wiped out and took out Martin Truex Jr., but what a crazy race the last 15-20 laps at the new Roval. Didn't see a lot of today's race but Johnson had a lower ball joint failure on the warmup laps and probably took his last chance at a win this year. Something like 16 or 18 years with at least 1 win at stake. Truex didn't have a great car today.
