Canadian singing group knocked it out of the park with both of National Anthems.
Makes me sad concerning NBA & NFL.

Having been glued to the playoffs leading up to this year's series, the final outcome has left me cold, so I did not tune in to the first game last night. Not planning to watch the rest either, as my team that had an exciting season...Chi-town Cubs...but fell short to the Brewers...division rival...as the Dodgers swept them in 4... not at all a Dodger fan and prefer the National League over the American League. So now my attention is on the forthcoming Hockey season, as nothing else sports-wise even interests me at this point. I will just have to wait for next year's Baseball season to get started...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Whether you like baseball or not, last nights game 3 of the World Series was a pretty epic game. Final score 6-5 Dodgers win after an 18 inning game!!! Freddie Freeman finally scored a walk off home run to end the game.

Dodger fan here, but I'm not optimistic. Dodger bat's are stone cold, swinging at bad piches, taking strikes.
With Ohtani batting first, #9 hitter in front of him is hitting well under 100, and Mookie behind him is about the same. No way to score runs, imo.
Game five, a rookie strikes out twelve Dodgers without a walk. Never been done in the series in 120 years.
Admiral Yamamoto will have to step up again tonight, big time.

Almost like it was planned that way…

I am not happy that 2 Canadian singers, have altered the words to the Canadian National Anthem. Not big changes, but any change is too much, IMO.

I'll be tuning in to something else tonight while I hide out from all the trick-or-treaters clamoring about. Besides, who can afford treats, what with how costly they've become? Shrinkflation and the greed of the makers and companies these days... cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

I think that 18 inning game did the Dodgers in. They're showing their age. The BJs came right back after that game.

Yamamoto the Robot on the hill tonight. Jays likely won't do any better against him than Game 2.

LOL, you can get TWO tickets behind home plate if you're quick, at $112,000 Cdn ! Cheap seat tickets at $11k each!
Is that in Toronto?!? That's insane! The high-buck fans of the Dodgers at dodger stadium, I could believe those prices. Hard to believe in Toronto.
So (assuming) 60,000 seats, at (possibly) $10,000 each...... that's 600 MILLION DOLLARS!
Even if there's only 35,000 seats, that's still a chunk-o-change!
