2k primer question.

Is the 2k primer ok to sit un sanded for several weeks? Kind of like the old lacquer primer, the longer the better.

You want 2k primer to set for at least 2 weeks to get the shrinkage out of it. Yes longer it sets the better before sanding.

I would answer this by saying will you keep it covered and away from driving to avoid contamination. A week is plenty good.

Completely fine. Depending on your environment it may even be beneficial if your ambient temp is below 70F.

Been in 2k (unsanded) since last september, lost the weather to paint. Ill lay color end of May, hopefully.
