on the poly mills.... will a 62 up oil pan work on the 57-61 mill? or better yet. will the LA pan work on a poly??

i thin k this should cover it .... but the flywheel and damper will only work on the 62 up poly without the crank snout on the back of it.
per mopar performance magazine.... LA (273,318,340,360) and poly parts that swap:
distributor (electronic or points)
distributor/oil pump drive gear
oil pump (stock poly pump is HD/HV for an LA)
oil pan (except 360)
fuel pump
timing chain and sprockets
LA 318 rings
starters high torque or standard
fly wheel
connecting rods
crank shafts (including 360 if reground)
rod bearings
main bearings (except 360)
valve springs, retainers and keepers
harmonic balancer (some timing marks wont align, use timing tape)[ecept 360]
timing case cover and water pump that matches it
thermostat housing and t-stat
