360 la transmission upgrade

Is it possible to put a 10 speed automatic onto a 1975 360 LA motor, and if so would it fit easily in a 1972 dodge charger( the stock trans is a torqueflite 4 speed

What 10 speed trans are you thinking of?

A company called JVX (IIRC) makes adapter plates. Pricey stuff!

If you are thinking about the newer Mopar trannies that are behind the Hemi's, the bolt pattern is the same to the engine I believe as you can put the older trannies being the Hemi. Beyond that, no clue as you'll need to deal with getting it attached to the crank plus the electronics.

Anything is possible, are referring to the trans gm/ ford use I n the trucks? Chrysler has 8 speed in the trucks and some cars..
The old small block four speed autos work well when properly installed and set up.

The stock trans was originally a torqueflite three speed. If it has a four speed auto, it likely has some tunnel mods and the transmission is 1990 or newer.
