Hedman #78070 $255.99 at Summit Racing (painted)
easy fit, 1-3/4" tubes with 2.5" collector pipes
disclaimer;
if you have 3" exhaust may have to make a collecter adapter
& keep it away from the draglink on the passenger side
will fit very well, with angle plug Edelbrock Aluminum heads too
actually better than most manifolds or headers
(been there done that, into a Mandrel Bent, FlowmasterMuscle car Delta 50
system with an H-pipe, all the way out the back of the car,
it sounds great)
(but they won't work with a 'bolt-in' Unisteer rack & pinion/rear power steering
ask me how I know )
You're not going to make as much power
as almost
any long tube headers do either
(
an expensive TTI Header is hands down the best fitting for a bolt-in systems,
by far for long tube headers, for engines with mild mods etc., they are not
really a race header either, maybe 5-10hp more than the Hedman shorty)
but the Hedmans will make more than
the stock castiron manifolds
(
except maybe the upswept S/S 63-64, heavy $1200 sets for re-pops)
yes still, even more, the 68-70 HP manifolds,
ever will,
no reversion or backpressure & it sounds better too
otherwise, they damn near drop-in' & it's easy to get at/change plugs etc.
I'd highly suggest DEI socks so no problems with getting burned
you can get other ones
Hedman headers (Hedders) 78076 $572.99
with ceramic coating too or chrome-ish looking
(in black ?)
you will need to make or have some made for you
a head-pipe to connect them to the rest of the exhaust
good luck
