383 fuel pump line

Hi

On a stock 1969 b body 383
Off of the fuel pump

is there a small fuel filter as shown on this attached picture a stock step up?

I have another car with 440 and I have the correct vapor separator on that one.

But the 383, I believe didn't have the vapor separator. Did it have this fuel filter or did the line just go straight from pump to carb?

From my ancient memory, the fuel filter is in between 2hard lines, one off the pump, the other up to the carb.

Yes near as I can tell that is stock. My 68 383 is they same. I just can’t figure how it was routed around the distributor and over valve cover? Mine is bent all wonky.

do you have the factory hard lines on the engine ?

WileE. If your asking me yes i have most of the steel line. Minus a few inches where previously someone installed a filter by the carb.
