i need to buy a oil pickup tube for my 69 383 HP engine , with the stock oil pan . summit has one but not sure i’m picking the correct one . is this correct for my pan ? # sum - G3509
ByTheWay….i just read the fine print for there pan only ! anybody know if summit has a correct oil tube for the stock pan ? i have a few other things to get from them so it be convenient to get the tube also …
They have a pick-up that looks like the factory pick-up for the 402 pan.ByTheWay….

That pan uses a specific pick up, that is not the same one as the 402 pan uses, although it is similar.
That pan is deeper than the 402 pan.
Here is a pic of the one that shearedThe style you have pictured, I have sheared off at the base extremely easily before while installing. Also that style can block flow if too close to the bottom of the pan. Here is a factory style that will work with several pans including a 971.
