4 speed conversion

4speed conversion on 69 charger, iv got a 440 out of a 70 challenger w/ 130 tooth flywheel, A-833 tranny out of the same car as well, 18 spline input. starting to source parts for it, what bell housing do I need? does it matter? what clutch do I need? 10.5in or 11in? any general advise on this year of conversion would help immensely

I believe the 10-1/2" set or the 11" scalloped (disc notched for bolt and cover clearance) set will bolt to the 130 tooth flywheel. I don't know that an 11" scalloped disc is available in an 18 spline.

Edit...11" scalloped evidently these are available. Listed as 10.95" sets.


A standard (not scalloped) 11" set is too big for the 130 tooth flywheel. I'm thinking it uses a 143 tooth and 11" bell.
