4 speed grinding on down shifts

That’s what I’m thinking Steve. Now I guess I’ll have to flip a coin as to using ATF or the high zinc 10-40 from Brad Penn.
I’ll take any advise on this as well guys.

Well guys. Just as an FYI. It’s still has me scratching my head but I drained out the Red Line fluid in my 4 Speed and replaced it with ATF and it worked!!
I’m surprised to say the least but it worked. Tranny shifts like butter up and down with no grinding. I guess I’ll see how long it lasts. Still skeptical but agin thanks for all the feedback.
