416 stroker raw fuel smell at idle?

HI,
My 416 stroker kind of loads up a bit and when stopped at idle, with the windows open it kind of smells raw fuel. As soon as I drive away, the smell subsides. I had this 340 dyno tuned by 2 places which told me that was the best they could get the fuel to air ratio and it would run a little rich at idle but clean itself up as soon as I started to move. I pulled some plugs and they were a nice tan color. Is there anything I can look at that might have been overlooked. Car has a slayer 750 carb and a somewhat lumpy cam?

What speed are you setting for idle? Is the float level a little high?

Cam overlap numbers? A lumpy cam let’s some of the intake charge out of the exhaust at idle. I use a pretty rough idle cam in my 350/406 sbc street motors. Needs 950 to 1100 to clean up the smell.

You could post the names of the 2 dyno shops....so that other members do not waste money with clowns who do not know how to tune a carb.....
