You are looking at a turn key 1968 426 Hemi and trans This motor was pulled out of 1969 Roadrunner and is in good running condition. I took a video of the motor running about two hours prior to removal. Once removed, I remove the valve covers and oil pan. At this point I took the motor and had it professionally cleaned and painted as well as having the valves reseated. I was told when I purchased to Road Runner that the motor had a fresh rebuild and everything on the inside supports that statement. It has good compression, does not smoke and starts instantly. The automatic transmission is a true mopar Hemi automatic transmission. This combined unit is a beautiful example of old Detroit Muscle. I have decided to go back to the original 440 four speed with this Roadrunner and therefore leaving me with this extraordinary Hemi sitting in the corner as garage art. I have several classic Mopars and I am very familiar with what this motor is worth. I am listing it at a below average selling price, so there is very little if any negotiation room.
